Nick already created a SpongeBob RoundPants, so I coined a new name. I usually shade most of my characters but wanted to keep this as close as possible to SpongeBob, so I just stuck with subtle gradients and darker tone outlines.

She doesn’t care about money and all she wants is a “sammich”. If you give her a sandwich, you’ll be one of the select few rewarded with a story of her childhood war stories.

Zim the Invader is of the coolest Nickelodeon cartoons that shouldn’t have went off the air. So short lived. My buddy Aja is the biggest Zim fan and she’s very good (and annoying) at doing the Doom Song. I think she would appreciate Gir more than anyone else could.

I sketch a lot of random things that have no logic or thought process behind it. I pretty much put the pencil to paper and draw whatever comes to mind. Sometimes it could be something I’m watching, a discussion, or a glimpse of an image that inspires the randomness. This is one of them.

Over the course of 3 years, I’ve taken more risks than I have in my entire life. Not to say that I am profitable or successful beyond belief, but the risks I’ve taken have opened up so many opportunities for me to actually do what I love. Even with all the failures I’ve had, I’ve learned that if you really give it your all then there are no limits to what you can achieve. If I had to stand in front of an audience and give them advice on how to be successful, it would be to put your heart into one thing and don’t be scared to go for it.
