365 Project: 6 – Powerline from Goofy Movie

January 6th, 2011

Goofy movie is hands down my all-time favorite Disney animation. When I was younger, I remember crying out in tears for days because my dad wouldn’t buy me the VHS…theaters were out the question. Not that I was spoiled, but it was one of the few things as a child that you HAD to beg for. That, and of course the Red Ranger with the retractable head and the megazord. Eventually he came to his senses and purchased me the movie. Goofy Movie is what got me interested in the animation field. The character below, Powerline, is only a representation of the greatest animation soundtrack EVERRRRRRR! And I stress that with confident.

365 Project: 5 – Carrot: The Dog from Hell

January 5th, 2011

Meet my dog Carrot. He’s bug-eyed, has IBS, humps legs, and whimpers for human food. Probably one of the best purchases I’ve made in my entire life.

365 Project: 4 – The Deadly Flight of Stairs

January 4th, 2011

Somewhere between the ages of 5 and 10, my sister pushed me down two flights of stairs at our old house in Jersey. Somehow, I made it out with no major injuries. I’m going to save how I retaliated for a later illustration.

365 Project: 3 – Unemployed Toothpaste

January 3rd, 2011

I had a conversation with my girlfriend the other day. The sort of conversations you joke around about then you actually put it into perspective. How is the toothpaste industry surviving? I typically only buy toothpaste that’ll last me for a month for $1-$3. Now if a typical household buys 5 a month, how do they make profit? I mean there’s got to be plenty of costs: manufacturing, packaging, distribution, rent, etc. And let’s not forget the plenty of competitions. How much profit are the retailers making if they are selling it for $3 and how much are the distributors selling it wholesale? I don’t particularly care too much about purchasing the Crest or Colgate type brands unless I feel like balling…which is once a month. Either way, toothpaste wont be going anywhere for a long time.

Sidenote: I balled last night and purchased Colgate Max with breath strips for $2.50.

Tofu is only good in misu soup and nothing else. Just my opinion. 365 Project by JonnyRabbit - Killer Tofu
